More Biography
Dr. Christopher Leung graduated from Melbourne University before completing advanced specialist training in gastroenterology. He currently practices as a gastroenterologist at Austin Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital while also serving as a clinical tutor and researcher within the Department of Medicine at The University of Melbourne.
His clinical interests include viral hepatitis, fatty liver disease, reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and confocal endomicroscopy. Dr. Leung is also actively involved in medical education and international endoscopic training through the World Gastroenterology Organisation.
In addition, he serves as Vice-President of the Australian Chinese Medical Association of Victoria and speaks fluent Cantonese.
