- Patients without a valid Medicare card (including reciprocal health care cards) or overseas residents
- Patients under 18 years of age or over 90 years of age
- Patients with high-risk medical conditions
- Patients with a BMI over 45
- Patients weighing over 120 kg
- Patients who are not ambulatory or not self-caring
- WorkCover patients
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) patients
