DR. EN JIN LIM

Dr. Eu Jin Lim, MBBS (Hons), FRACP.

• Dr. Eu Jin Lim graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne and completed his specialist medical training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Austin and Royal Melbourne Hospitals. In addition to Ivanhoe Endoscopy Centre, Dr. Lim consults as a gastroenterologist at the Austin, Royal Melbourne, Box Hill, Western and Sunshine Hospitals. He also teaches medical students as a clinical tutor with Monash University.
• Dr. Lim is currently completing a PhD in hepatitis C research through the University of Melbourne after being awarded a scholarship from the NHMRC. Dr. Lim has a keen interest in clinical research and has published numerous papers in international peer reviewed journals on wide-ranging topics such as liver disease, bowel cancer, pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease and capsule endoscopy. His research has been presented at multiple international conferences.
• Dr Lim maintains a broad range of clinical interests such as liver disease, viral hepatitis, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, coeliac disease, bowel cancer screening, and endoscopy including diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy (Pillcam). He has also been trained in the use of FibroScan for the assessment of liver fibrosis.

Apart from English, Dr. Lim is also fluent in Mandarin.
